spafford - charlotte '25
Poster for Spafford's Charlotte show on July 18th at the Visulite Theatre. This poster began with the concept of a playing card and quickly transformed into a visual tribute to Charlotte and the Carolinas. Known as “The Queen City,” Charlotte is symbolized by the crown motif in the bottom right corner—a design widely recognized throughout the city. Other elements woven into the illustration include nods to the city's major sports teams (the Panthers and Hornets), prominent buildings from the Charlotte skyline, and North Carolina’s state flower, the dogwood. The Queen herself holds a symbol representing the Carolina Thread Trail, a well-loved network of hiking and biking paths that span across both North and South Carolina.
